Dear Darkness
For twelve-year-old Frida, darkness is especially pleasant because she doesn't need to see so much. Sometimes even her eyes hurt from all the light. Frida is blind, can only see outlines, shadows and colours, but when she dreams the blurry images of the day become sharp. Precisely because she doesn't see as much as others, she perceives the world that surrounds her very differently. And so she sees things that remain hidden to others.
