We'll be meeting online via Zoom for the next workshop on Friday, April 28 from 10am-1pm. This time it's all about market and competition, customer value proposition, competitors and market entry.

Besides the innovation aspect of your idea, it is very important to understand the market situation and your competitors. What is your total market volume? Is there possibly a spatial limitation of the market, Is there a segmentation, of the market - into several target groups? How can you focus on potential buyers/target groups? How can you convincingly communicate that your idea can be successfully implemented in the EXIST phase, that you solve relevant problems and create added value? What is your innovative edge over the competition and what are your features compared to alternative offerings on the market? We will deal with all these important questions in the upcoming workshop.

We will pick you up where you are with your idea and work out your individual idea together, with which you can convince the EXIST application. And if you don't have a concrete project idea yet or are unsure whether you are eligible for EXIST funding, no problem! We will look at your idea together, talk about it together and give impulses on how to develop a concept from it. Our events are open to all interested parties and to those who are already working on their concrete application.

On Friday, April 28, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., this will be our workshop content on the topic of market and competition.

Workshop program:

  • Introduction to the EXIST-Gründerstipendium (start-up grant)
  • Market and competition analysis (market situation, customer value proposition, competitors and market entry)
  • Review of your innovation advantage over competitors and your differentiating features compared to alternative offers on the market
  • Presentation of the direct/indirect competitors, identification of the largest competitors or market leaders (consideration of the similarities, differences and disadvantages of the competitors)
  • Elaboration and discussion of your own project plan and sharpening of the descriptions especially for the EXIST application
