From freelancers over film productions to innovative start-ups - new business areas are constantly being identified at the Film University and spin-off projects are being supported. The projects are also extremely diverse in terms of content, ranging from design and games to film, television and IT. The university is the most successful art university in Germany both according to the start-up radar and in terms of the approval of EXIST start-up grants. Some start-up projects that could be mediated with external funding are presented below as examples.
