International Office

The International Office/Internationalization department is in charge of the strategic and operational aspects of internationalization at the Film University.

In cooperation with the university management, we are responsible for developing the internationalization strategy and the international profile of the Film University, e.g. by establishing collaborations with international partner universities.

As a typical International Office, we are also the first point of contact for students at the Film University who are planning a stay abroad. We support outgoing students from the application process to their return and offer advice on all organizational issues.
Within the framework of the ERASMUS+ program, we also advise employees of the Film University on stays abroad and funding opportunities.

The International Office is also the right point of contact for prospective students from abroad. Be it an exchange semester or a degree program: we advise all prospective students prior to their application and support the international students during their studies at the Film University.

We also organize regular information events on the exchange programs as well as events and excursions for all students, especially as part of our Buddy Program.

The Film University is a participant in the ERASMUS+, PROMOS and STIBET I & DAAD Prize funding programs.
