Angelica Böhm

Angelica Böhm is Professor of Scenography at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.
She approaches scenography as a practice of worldbuilding — where space becomes narrative and embodied experience. Her work positions scenography as a cultural practice that shapes how we imagine and construct future worlds.
Her practice integrates teaching, artistic research, and international collaboration, with a focus on ecological thinking, transmedia storytelling, and spatial design.
She leads interdisciplinary formats that bring together students from directing, cinematography, production, and visual effects, developing large-scale studio projects and experimental research environments.
Her artistic research includes long-term projects such as Camilla Plastic Ocean Planand the Art for Futures Lab, exploring how scenographic practice can generate knowledge and contribute to future imaginaries.
