In the beginning there was the line: drawing is a medium for spontaneous communication and notation, autonomous artistic expression and training of pictorial, plastic, and spatial thinking. However, visual arts understood as “image as construction” sees its role primarily in creating interfaces between all art forms. “Everything is drawing.
