Gender Office

The office coordinates measures and offers for a gender-sensitive culture and works closely with the head of the university and the gender equality officers.

Equal opportunities, awareness for gender- and diversity-sensitive communication, understanding and overcoming gender stereotypes as well as providing an inclusive and discrimination free environment are key concerns for the Film University, thus these concerns are taken into considerations in conceptualizing all measures and offers for all members of the university.

One main responsibility of the Gender Office is the coordination of the measures of the Programme for Women Professors III.
 

Examples

The Film University offers a range of measures, from workshops on diversity-sensitive teaching methods and scholarships for women researchers, to the transfer of gender- and diversity-sensitive approches to storytelling as well as coaching and mentoring.

Information on changes of first names for trans, inter and non-binary people

In some cases, the Film University can change the names of trans, inter and non-binary people. Please find more information and the request form in the Intranet. Contact point for all inquiries is the office for student affairs.
