kindr.is an innovative app designed to support modern parents in balancing family life, partnership, and personal well-being. Focused on reducing mental load and promoting equal caregiving, Kindr. helps families manage everyday tasks more equitably, fostering stronger relationships and healthier dynamics. The app integrates project management tools with insights from emotion-focused therapy, offering a unique approach to reducing stress and enhancing communication for families.
The kindr. team, led by co-founder Dr. Johanna Ickert, a Filmuniversität Babelsberg Konrad Wolf alumna with a degree in Film and Television Directing, combines expertise in psychology, agile project management, and software development. The team also includes Susanne Richter, a trained psychologist and producer, along with a skilled group of developers and designers. Fatih Girisken, a serial tech entrepreneur and developer, completes the founding team. Together, they aim to create tools that help families grow stronger, both as individuals and as a collective.
In 2024, kindr. received the prestigious award of being one of Kultur- und Kreativpilot*innen Deutschland, recognizing the company’s innovative approach to supporting families and its impact in the cultural and creative industries.
