Funding Opportunities

The Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF offers doctoral candidates comprehensive support to successfully complete their traditional scientific PhD and the scientific/artistic PhD. As part of its non-material support, continuing education opportunities such as e-learning units and workshops/coaching sessions are available as part of the Graduate Academy. These programs are designed to support academic work, build networks, and help with career planning, and to counteract crises in the doctoral process at an early stage.

The Film University itself does not currently award scholarships to doctoral candidates. However, numerous external funding opportunities exist. An overview is available on this website. The Graduate Academy provides individual advice and supports the identification of suitable funding options.
