The second NOISE* E❌IST-Women session in 2026 will take place on February 9, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in person ON SITE ONLY. Design Thinking is intended to support and guide those applying for the NOISE* EXIST-Women Scholarship 2026. However, it is open to anyone who wants to find or further develop a business project idea.

Application deadline: February 22, 2026.

The session will be conducted in English.

In this infosession, Jörn Krug will explain how to use Design Thinking as a tool to further develop and make your idea more concrete. It is not only about methods but also about gaining a better understanding of your target audience and business model.

In this infosession, you will learn:

  • Refine your idea: Work step by step to develop how your idea can be implemented in practice.
  • Understand your target audience: Identify who your customers are and what their needs are.
  • Use tools like the Business Model Canvas: Structure your concept.
  • Collect feedback and adjust: Gather input, community feedback and iteractively improve your solution.

About the NOISE* EXIST Women program:

The community and scholarship program runs from March to December 2026 and we will announce further community event dates (every two weeks). The event will also provide information about the individual financial support opportunities offered by the NOISE* scholarship. You can find out more about this and the call for applications on our website in advance. If you have any questions, please send an e-mail to: noise-exist(at)filmuniversitaet.de.

NOISE* EXIST-Women is an Initiative by Filmuniversitaet Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, financed by Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz(BMWK).

This new funding program aims to support women / FLINTA in the development of creative business ideas. The program offers support in the form of grants, financial support for material resources, mentoring and coaching as well as access to co-working spaces. As part of this, the start-up service will host a series of community events on campus for women* / FLINTA founders to share ideas and work together on solutions. This community is open to all women* / FLINTA students, staff, alumnae and partners of the Film University.
FLINTA* is a German abbreviation that stands for "Frauen, Lesben, Intergeschlechtliche, nichtbinäre, trans und agender Personen", meaning women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people.

The deadline for NOISE* scholarship application is February 22, 2026.
