Paul Rieth

Paul Rieth works in the field of film and new media. Already during his studies of media and communication sciences and sociology, he organized film festivals, worked as a film journalist, developed an online platform for networking young filmmakers, founded a film production company and produced several short films.

Subsequently, he worked as an independent consultant & project manager in crowdfunding and marketing. Since 2017, he has been an Audience Design trainer and mentor at TorinoFilmLab (FeatureLab & Audience Design Fund) as well as Documentary Campus Masterschool. He also works as a lecturer and tutor at various universities, film schools and festivals on innovations in the film industry.

In 2015, he published DOK & CROWD, the first handbook on German documentary film with insights on crowdfunding, Video-on-demand and social media marketing.

His agency GET YOUR CROWD advises and manages projects in the areas of audience building, social media marketing and crowdfunding. In addition to strategic consulting and campaigns, GET YOUR CROWD produces diverse forms of video content for social media as well as documentaries, tutorials and crowdfunding videos.
