LITTLE KARL AND THE ELEPHANTS

Nine-year-old Karlchen is a street boy living in Dresden in 1915. WWW I challenges people and Karlchen needs to earn his own money: he transports potatoes on his little hand cart to the merchant at the market. For a long time, Karlchen has had a big dream: just once, he would like to see the famous elephants of the Sarrasani Circus. To earn the entrance fee, Karlchen works hard. But when his dream finally comes within reach, everything turns out differently than expected... Based on a true story.
