Profile
The special feature of the Bachelor's program Digital Media Culture at the Film University Babelsberg is the combination of science, art and practice. We combine theories of communication science and media studies theories as well as empirical research methods to better understand digital media phenomena, to critically evaluate and classify them - but also to participate in the creative processes and to become active in shaping them.
This unique mix is achieved by science based seminars that are supplemented by practical projects, internships, excursions and lecturers from the media industry, as well as interdisciplinary artistic projects.
