The workshop series offers a scenario for explorative learning in which students of the Film University artistically test generative music technologies within the framework of an audiovisual music production process, develop their own audiovisual compositions and finally perform the results in a live performance.
The course is aimed at students with an affinity for technology and, in addition to artistic-technological work, addresses the examination of new technologies in the context of music as well as newly emerging workflows in creative processes. The students are accompanied in the events by the lecturers, who act as mentors in the work phases, give impulse lectures depending on the event topic, present teaching content and explore opportunities and challenges that arise through the use of generative music technologies for artistic practice and professional development together with the students.
